MTV announced the 2013 MTV Movie Award Nominations today and the complete list can be found directly below where Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained and Seth MacFarlane‘s Ted lead the way with seven nominations each, both of which being nominated in the Movie of the Year category alongside Silver Linings PlaybookThe Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises.

Of the five films nomninated for the top prize, Silver Linings Playbook holds six nominations and Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises follows with five while The AvengersThe Perks of Being a WallflowerPitch Perfect and Skyfall come in four each.

Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson will host the show, which will take place on Saturday, April 13 and the Movie of the Year voting, which is voted on by fans, will actually be left open to voting starting today and going all the way through the show until the winner is announced. You can begin voting here.

Personally I take zero stock in the MTV Movie Awards, but I’m curious, looking over some of these nominations, do you agree with any of them more than this year’s Oscars? Should the Oscars add a Best Shirtless Performance category? How about a Best WTF Moment? And uh, what’s with only men in the Best Shirtless category? Rude don’tcha think?

Of course, are you at least a little surprised The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 didn’t get a Best Movie nomination?
