TIFF First Looks: ‘127 Hours,’ ‘What’s Wrong with Virginia,’ ‘The Conspirator’ and More

Things are moving at a quick clip when it comes to the Toronto International Film Festival so you can be assured several more posts like this will be arriving in the next few days as I have several images from all of the films that will be showing at the festival and will begin debuting them as things progress. This post offers looks at four more…

First, Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours starring James Franco, Clemence Poesy (In BrugesHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Amber Tamblyn (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and Kate Mara (Brokeback Mountain).

I already talked a lot about this film in today’s earlier updated line-up announcement so you can read up on it there if you wish. Here I will just tell you I have the brand new image directly above and the following synopsis provided by the festival:

127 Hours is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah. Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary.
